Friends of the Hiawatha Public LibraryThe Friends of the Hiawatha Public library is a volunteer organization dedicated to the support of our local library. There are Friends groups supporting libraries all over the United States in addition to Civic library Boards. As a member of Friends, you will be making a contribution to the future of our community. The money raised by Friends, in memberships and book sales, is used to enhance the local library' s budget to support numerous extra activities. Your important membership contribution will help the library fund the following activities:

The Board meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Hiawatha Public Library. Any Friends member is free to attend. We welcome new voices!
